Neurofeedback Helps Test Anxiety

Live brain activity of a patient

Here is a recording of live brain activity in the Limbic Lobe. This is an important area for emotional processing, motivation, learning, and memory. The colors signify how far deviated this person’s brain activity is from “normal” which is green (the mean of the normative database). Red indicates activity that is at least 2.3 standard deviations (z-score) above the mean which is significant. Dark blue indicates activity that is below normal. Using a technique called “live z-score training” the person can “train” their brain to produce and habituate a healthier state of brain activity in the selected region (s). In doing so many symptoms can improve such as anxiety, insomnia, migraines, ADD/ADHD, and more.
